Italo Voices
Italo Voices, part of the Da Vinci Learning Centre, is a pioneering Language and Culture club offering a distinct blend of professional development and cultural enrichment. Our club’s essence lies in its unique combination of traditional language offerings with a dedicated focus on the Italian culture. This distinctive approach provides our members with an enriching environment that goes beyond the realms of typical Language and Culture clubs.
At the core of Italo Voices is our commitment to bilingual mastery. We create a bilingual [Italian and English] environment, allowing our members to enhance their communication skills in both languages. This bilingual focus is complemented by real-life presentation opportunities, enabling members to experience genuine public speaking scenarios.
A standout feature of our club is the cultural exploration we offer. Each workshop includes three 15-minute Italian language, culture and communication lesson, providing an in-depth understanding of Italy’s heritage. These components are designed not only to educate but also to immerse our members in the nuances of Italian culture, enhancing their language skills through practical application.
Members of Italo Voices are encouraged to attend ItaloWorld Meetup events held every Saturday at the Broadbeach Library from 2.00pm to 3.30pm followed by a social gathering at The Patio, Pacific Fair, where you will get a chance to practise your language skills in a social setting.
Camaraderie and friendship form the foundation of our Meetups. We foster a supportive and inclusive environment where members from diverse backgrounds can form lasting connections, united by their shared passion for Italian language and culture and practice their language skills in real-world settings, and deepen their cultural insights.
Italo Voices is more than a club; it's a journey of personal and professional growth intertwined with cultural discovery. Our vision is to provide a platform where language proficiency, effective communication, leadership development, and cultural exchange come together, creating a unique and fulfilling experience.
The Club holds its workshops on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of every month from 6.30 - 8.30pm.
These workshops are held in the Broadbeach Cultural Centre (next to the Library), and are accessible by public transport with ample free parking.
